Sandy Creek Campin has been renamed to Cedarvale Park

Isaac & Tammy Burton are the proud new owners of Sandy Creek Campin. The Campground has been rename to Cedarvale Park. The camp site will be undergoing new developments. Including New facilities, Hiking tracks, Horse back Adventures and much much more.

Cedarvale Park would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land the Jinibara peoples. As each of us gather at this beautiful country and campsite we would like to pay our respects to the Elders, past and present, and remember that sovereignty was never ceded. Brian and Narelle were the previous owners for 20 years and had called it Sandy Creek Campin’. It is now renamed Cedarvale Park as of November 2021 when Isaac and Tammy Burton purchased this tranquil 520 acres with a vision of creating a space for like-minded souls that are about sustainable living, learning skill building activities, personal development, health, and being in harmony with the surrounding elements of nature. Cedarvale Park is completely off grid therefore there is no phone reception until your closer to the town of Kilcoy. This makes it easier for families and friends to connect, to really get back to the simple pleasures and basics of life with ease and grace.

Our grounds are very safe and level with plenty of shady trees beside Sandy Creek to create your relaxing piece of Paradise for a few days. Sandy Creek Campin’ hosts a range of facilities and activities available, including

  • Campfires permitted, but please be considerate of others
  • Numerous walking tracks available to enjoy the local wildlife
  • We have a very limited number of camp sites to ensure a relaxing experience for our visitors
  • We also offer real flushing toilets as well as hot and cold showers

Easy 2 Wheel drive access to the campgrounds. Maybe you could teach your youngsters to ride their first push bike across the wide open grassed areas close by, look on from the creek banks as the kids explore our tranquil rock pools, bring a camp oven and cook a stew or an old fashioned Aussie damper over your camp fire, even enjoy a glass of red as the sun sets over the hills.

Should you enjoy a round of golf, bring your clubs as there are very enjoyable courses at both Woodford and Kilcoy. Their surroundings are delightful, and either club is only about a 20 minute drive from your campsite. Although our bush land retreat is spread out over almost 500 acres of undeveloped natural landscape for those who like hiking or bird watching, there are almost 20 klms of rough walking tracks that can also be used by mountain bikes. Motor bikes or Quads are not allowed, and we don’t encourage noisy vehicles. Once you arrive at our entrance, access to our camping ground is across Sandy Creek over a concrete causeway. The water level is normally only ankle deep here. Access is suitable for cars towing camper trailers or larger caravans. We do not have a rubbish collection, so please bring bags to remove all your waste when you leave. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
